South Africa reaps heavily from World Cup
South Africa is believed to have hosted the 2010 FIFA World Cup; it was an event that will always be memorable to the people of South Africa. It inspired a great spirit to the people thus attracting many tourists from different parts of the worls.This was reported by the National Tourism Minister.
At the Ipelegeng Community Center in Soweto, Van Sxhalkwyk took the opportunity to launch South Africa Tourism and the slogan used was I’m a South Africa fan movement.The meaning of the slogan is to motivate and encourage South Africans to love their country, raising the flag high, soothing your sports as well as being hospitable as it was shown during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
The vuvuzela produced sounds that showed that the South Africans were extremely happy with this event in their country. They showed a spirit of love for sports and their participation was greatly acknowledged. South Africa was taken to be the first world’s leading vacation destination in Africa to host the world cup. Minister Van Schalkwyk,he actually wanted to experience and tour some parts of South Africa. The Excursion included touring about Soweto by using a motorbike. His tour enabled him to see the Orlando Towers, Soweto Hotels and Nelson Mandela’s home in Vilakazi street. Soweto is one
