			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Despite of Mpumalanga being the first choice holiday destination in S.Africa for foreigners and local people, with a range of natural features and scenery, it is also a breath taking place covered by water falls and visiting wildlife. While for bird lovers, the Southern grass and wetland areas may be favourable.</p>
<p>The area’s floral attributes is diverse and for plant lovers, its an interesting place to visit. The place has a variety of waterfalls, nature reserves, hiking trails and a number of indigenous trees, with Blyde River canyon being the biggest nature reserve and this place provides spectacular views of Low veld. The Badplaas’s natural springs provide an oasis.<br />
There is much to keep holiday makers busy.</p>
<p>In S. Africa, Chrissces meer is the largest fresh water lake and its home to a number of flamingos and bird variety.</p>
<p>Deep indolmite rocks lie Sudwala caves in the surrounding mountains where Swazi perform several cultural and traditional dances and songs. It’s a place for a visit.</p>
<p>The Low veld area has Gold rush towns, which include; Barberton, Graskop and Pilgrims Rest. This place was the most visited by explorers and pioneers and hence it’s worthy visiting since it gives an enjoyable look to the tourists of Ermelo, which is popular for San paintings.</p>
<p>Barberton is where the first stock exchange was set and Pilgrims Rest is a national monument place.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Although not popularly visited as the adjacent Western Cape, the Eastern Cape Province contributes largely to the history of South Africa. It was in this place that Nelson Mandela was born and later in the year 2000 a museum was opened to correspond with the 10<sup>th</sup> anniversary of Mandela’s release from prison. The museum located south of Umtata at Qunu on the N2.</p>
<p>In addition the Eastern Cape has a rich natural radiance along with a mild coastline that attracts surfers, an incredible inland landscape of rising and falling farmlands and valleys. It is considered to be one of the moistest strips on the seaside woodland on the entire earth.</p>
<p>On the fur west coastline of the province is the world renowned Garden Route, simplifying the decision to continue in the North-East direction along Africa’s shoreline towards the Eastern Cape.</p>
<p>In addition, the Eastern Cape is a grand safari holiday destination with three national parks that are malaria-free and these are the Mountain Zebra, the Tsitsikamma and the Addo Elephant National Park. The Eastern Cape’s first private conservation project was the Shamwari, between Grahamstown and Port Elizabeth. It has since been a big achievement as an outstanding holiday destination and in regards to environmental moral principles. It offering a comfortable safari experience to its visitors.</p>
<p>Fort Elizabeth is the most important city in the entire Eastern Cape and without a doubt one of the best kept secrets in South Africa. Other than it being an ideal base for day pleasure trip; PE as commonly referred to, it has a wide variety of tremendous golf courses and seaboards. In its urban centre you can involve in several great mountain bike trails, windsurfing, pleasant walks, sailing and surfing, kitesurfing, and unbelievable scuba diving.</p>
<p>Unlike other places which have the “Big Five” the Eastern Cape is a sanctuary to the &#8220;Big Seven&#8221;. In addition to the &#8220;Big Five&#8221; which are Lion, Rhino, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant, you will also see the Southern Right Whale and the Great White Shark.</p>
<p>The Eastern Cape has a number of wonderful game reserves. Shamwari is the greatest game reserve in this area and has won a number of awards for its distinctiveness. The park has bred a number of the Big 5 thus greatly increasing their population through its existing programmes. Other game reserves in the area are the Kwandwe Game Reserve and the Kwantu Game Reserve, which has foreign wildlife and splendid scenery.</p>
<p>This worth visiting reserve is located in a rough country area of the Eastern Cape. It has a number of activities to get pleasure from and they include safaris, hiking, and mountain climbing. When you drive from Port Elizabeth along the N2 highway to King Williams Town, you will take the R63 left to Adelaide, and track the signs to Molweni.</p>
<p>The sole ski resort in South Africa is also found in The Eastern Cape. Tiffindell lays north eastern section of this Province. It is situated next to the town-land of Rhodes, and placed in the Drakensberg Mountain Range. It&#8217;s on the position of Ben McDhui, which at 3,000 meters high as the highest mountain summit in the Cape. This ski resort found at Tiffindell was founded in 1993.</p>
<p>Visiting the Drakensberg National Park is mandatory. You will be able to sight at the over thousands of years  old mesmerizing paintings of Bushmen drawn on rocks in the sandstone-caves. You can also book your accommodation for your stay in this same area.</p>
<p>You can alternatively opt for a tour in the most important cities of the Eastern Cape, such as Port Elizabeth. There are very many things to entertain you ranging from historical attractions to museums, and superb beaches on the Algoa Bay. The Algoa Bay pride in close to 40 kilometers of golden-sandy beaches washed with warm humid waters of the great Indian Ocean. Some of the attractions in Port Elizabeth are the Bayworld Aquarium, the Market Square St George&#8217;s Park and Donkin Reserve.</p>
<p>A trip in the Port Elizabeth region would not be complete if you don’t visit Jeffrey&#8217;s Bay! This Bay is located on the N2 west, 70 km from Port Elizabeth. It is a seventh heaven for surfers.  Alternatively referred to as &#8220;J-Bay&#8221; the beach hosts surfing contests annually and it’s well-known for its great surfing waves. The long sandy beaches here attracts many people particularly those interested in getting  away and wish to enjoy the beautiful sun!</p>
<p>Among the other places that you should endeavor to visit in the Eastern Province are Buffalo City and East London.they have spectacular beaches, specifically the Orient Beach, Nahoon Reef and the Nahoon Reef. In addition, there are a number of museums in this area, and the greatest is the East London Museum. Mpotshane Private Game Reserve, the East London Lion Park and Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve, are some of the game reserves that are recommended.</p>
<p>Tsitsikamma National Park lays the western part of the Eastern Cape, is an area of natural beauty and with coastal reserve in the Garden Route which extends from Tsitikamma found in the north to Mossel Bay that is in the south. Basing on its name which means a &#8220;place with much water&#8221; it includes almost 80kilometers of coastline and is bordered by the warm Indian Ocean waters. You will enjoy a number of activities such as fishing and watching whale. It is accessed on Road by means of the N2.</p>
<p>Ailwal North is another tourist attraction in the Eastern Cape, and is found on the plateau in the fertile farmlands on the Southern Banks of River Orange. There are two hot mineral springs in this place. From East London heading north, the road runs analogous to the natural Coast leading you on an eye-catching tour of an vicinity viewing its natural beauty, hills, forests, and steep cliffs, which harbor white sandy beaches at their bottom. This not commonly explored area that is ideal for water sports along the coastal trail of the Easter Cape Province.</p>

However, developments that have taken place over current years have got tourists flock back to Johannesburg, and its surrounding region of Gauteng. <p>Roodeplaat</p>
<p>In Pretoria, the prolific nature reserve and close by damn in this city share the name Roodeplaat. The reserve accommodates birdwatchers and those interested in viewing wildlife with more than 250 species of birds and a 143 meter high damn that holds 40 million cubic meters of water, while the northern region of the reserve is a renowned camping and fishing area. Roodeplaat also in offering  hiking trails.</p>
<p>Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve</p>
<p>This is an ideal destination for tourists who are interested in frightening nature experience. Suikerbosrand and is located very close to Johannesburg International Airport, and occupies more than 115 square kilometers. The reserve is popular for hiking activities but due to its large size, many travels opt to explore its trails on mountain bikes than trekking. It is a sanctuary to a vast number of mammals which are frequently spotted and among these are hyenas, aardvark, zebras, porcupine and springboks. It also has a visitor&#8217;s centre and museum.</p>
<p>National Zoological Gardens of South Africa</p>
<p>The Zoo is located in Pretoria city and was founded in 1899 and since then it known as National Zoo of South Africa.the zoo has put in place numerous conservation centers with a sole aim of breeding the endangered species such as the Arabian oryx and the white rhino. In the zoo there is a Reptile Park, a carnivore and primate section and an aquarium.it is openes seven days a week all throughout the year.</p>
<p>Cradle of Humankind</p>
<p>The Cradle of Humankind is rather a unique geological destination. It covers an area of 474 square kilometers and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site holding a number of magnificent limestone caves. This heritage is popular to both tourists and archaeologists, who are largely attracted to the1.5 million years old and 60 meter deep cave – the Wonder Cave. A vast number of fossils have been discovered in this area and among them are the hominids. A visitor’s center was recently opened up in this area.</p>

(1).     Blue swallows.<br />
This is considered the most endangered bird in S. Africa and if you are lucky, you can spot the blue swallow in the Province of Limpopo in the nests of old sink holes ant bear holes, mine shafts or near Kaapsche hoop in Mpumalanga.<br />
For clear sighting, visit Malawi’s Nyika plateau.</p>
<p>(2). Wakkerstroom<br />
In Wakkerstroom, you can spot some of the 20 S. Africa’s 35 odd endemic species of birds in the small town of Mpumalanga with also wetland habitats and grasslands.</p>
<p>In summer, its when grassland species can be seen easily in their plumage breeding ground.</p>
<p>(3). Mac Mac Duet.<br />
Mpumalanga’s Mac Mac Falls in Mac Mac River spreads into two and columns of water plummet side by side. For 65 metres in a gorge pool below in Mpumalanga’s magical fall.</p>
<p>(4).  Lisbon’s Double stream.<br />
Walk along a footpath below the fall to have spectacular views Lisbon Falls which over ½ circular rock face tumble in a double stream of 90 metres.</p>
<p>(5).  Berlin  Falls.<br />
The Berlin Falls boasts plenty of waterfalls. Water cascades 80 metres over a cliff and below a green pool. You can get closer on the falls or a platform to have spectacular views of the falls.</p>
<p>(6). Cosmos Country.<br />
The Cosmos spring flowers lie in Namagua land and west coast. However, they are also situated in South western Mpumalanga and in summer, this veld is carpeted with pink and white cosmos flowers, wild cosmos flowers usually have eight petals as a way of difference.</p>
<p>(7).    Mpumalanga Trout.<br />
The place Privides rivers and dams which are well-stocked with brown trout and rainbow in the area, best for fishing.</p>
<p>(8).     Kaapse hoop.<br />
Kaapse hoop is a village town with houses built on raised hills and rocky out crops and you cannot see them on the main road. There are few roads in Kaapsehoop and houses. The available houses in the area are wild shops. Here they sell second hand treasures. You will be out of place if you can manage to come in an old beetle.</p>
<p>(9).     World’s oldest Rocks.<br />
Visit Barberton, where you can imagine after seeing the 3400 million years ago rocks in place.<br />
You can visit these Fortuna hiking trail, which hiking boasts over 100 tree species.<br />
These rocks developed when a bacteria started to develop and later a few years, a fossil of that bacteria was found near Barberton. Its estimated to be around 3200 million years old.</p>
<p>(10).     Songimvelo Game Reserve.<br />
Its one of the most scenic reserves. Its less known by visitors.<br />
The Reserve lies on the border between Swaziland and Mpumalanga in the low veld and in big game country. It provides a nine-day horse back adventures.<br />
Be prepared for a great adventure especially  if your guide is Steven Rufus since he is a white knuckle rider.</p>
